The Matakana Country Market is a must on a weekend.  We can collect you from your ship, escort you around the markets where we will purchase fresh ingredients and have a picnic lunch on a sandy beach.

Marine Reserves and Beaches

Get up close and personal with beautiful marine and bird life.  We are blessed with a marine sanctuary at Goat Island.  Or maybe you would like to stroll along a  beach.

At Goat Island, snorkelling is fun for all ages from four to ninety four.  You will see marine species usually scared of humans.  They know they are protected in this natural reserve and thousands of fish will swim around you.  If you want to stay dry, try a glass bottom boat trip to see the same spectacles.

Beaches

We are proud of the beauty and diversity of beaches in our region.  Let us arrange a picnic on the foreshore, kayaking, fishing or a stroll around the rocks.  Kids love to explore rock pools and paddle a kayak in a safe environment.

Golfers Special Day Out – Omaha Beach Golf Club

Omaha Golf Club is home to a stunning challenge for golfers at all levels.  The first three holes are relatively flat, look reasonably straight forward, but are well bunkered and with a few water features.  The next nine holes are true links style holes with palatial housing on one side and a wetland reserve on the other.  The last six holes include flat fairways, amazing harbour views, challenging water hazards and bunkers.

This is a course you will enjoy and respect.  After refreshments in the club house overlooking the harbour, the journey back to the ship will be a re-living of a great round of golf.   We arrange green fees, club and cart hire and lunch.

Auckland adventures to suit the entire family.

On our tailored Auckland day tours you may elect to combine any of the above activities. Maybe three or four of you want to play golf, three or four want to surf and others want to walk or snorkel.
