The World of WearableArt®, known as WOW®, is a renowned international design competition that attracts hundreds of entries from all over the world.
Finalists compete for over $165,000 in prize money plus internships with leading creative companies such as Weta Workshop.
Using the human body as a blank canvas designers create works of wearable art to be exhibited in the annual Awards Show. Designs are brought to life in this spectacular stage performance – a world where theatre, fashion and art collide. Held each year in September in New Zealand’s capital city, Wellington, this unique event draws an audience of over 55,000.
ITINERARY
September 24th 2017 (Sunday) – pickup from your home or pre-arranged pickup location, drive to Auckland and fly to Wellington at for a 10am flight. We will be hiring a van while in Wellington. Check in at our Wellington hotel apartments in Johnsonville. Premium seating at the 5:00pm WOW show. Dinner at a local restaurant (Chow) gorgeous asian fare, following the show.
September 25th 2017 (Monday) –Brunch together this morning in Wellington city. We have some time to either look around the city, or even look at a few shops before flying home on a 12:45pm flight, returning to Auckland at 1:50pm. We will then drive back to Mahurangi early afternoon and head to your homes or pickup points.

The cost of $745 includes the premium seats, airfares, accommodation, main meal and all transfers.
